The Group Finance Manager - External Reporting will participate in the external statutory and other financial reporting processes for Endeavour Group, and drives compliance with accounting policies and standards.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Delivery of annual and half-yearly financial reports, as well as any other ASIC or ASX reporting requirements
• Consultation on and verification of other external reports including results announcements, investor presentations, sustainability report, tax transparency reports, etc 
• Provide internal technical accounting advice and preparation of accounting papers to support key accounting positions and judgements taken in respect of financial results and on the execution of corporate transactions (acquisitions, divestments, capital management activities, etc)
• Preparation of regular reporting to the Board of Directors and Audit, Risk and Compliance Management Committee
• Consultation on key system implementation and transformation projects from an external reporting perspective
• Carry out accounting for Group transactions relating to equity, such as share capital movements, share-based payments, dividends (internal and external), investments in subsidiaries, other investments and any related impairment matters with appropriate source documentation. This includes contributing towards budget, forecast and monthly management commentary, working with Group FP&A

Now let’s talk about you

• 10 years of financial accounting or external audit experience preferably in a Big 4 firm or large ASX-listed entity
• CA or CPA qualified
• Compliance, audits, capital expenditure, investments and assets knowledge
• Strong technical accounting skills including familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards and upcoming Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management and partnering capability
• Attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to identify and assist in managing business and reporting risks
