Job Description

The National Build Feasibility Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of our retail new store program in conjunction with Property and Design teams, ensuring our specification standards are delivered, and our landlords and developers works meet our expectations. You will work closely with landlords and developers, to ensure a quality outcome for all parties.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:

  • Ensure both BWS and Dan Murphy’s Build Specifications are up to date and can be accurately costed & executed by our external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the cold shell/landlord works are delivered per specification standards, in conjunction with the Agreement For Lease including managing exception schedules where applicable.
  • Identify and manage, with support from Design and Procurement, an agreed panel of external consultants (electrical, lighting, hydraulic, fire, etc) to assist with any required documentation.
  • Manage internal cold shell works inc. DA approvals when required and determined by Property, leveraging external consultants and PM support where required.
  • Work closely with our Cost & Compliance Manager on cold shell costs, benchmarking and opportunities to deliver any efficiencies or savings.
  • Attend regular property meetings, as a partner of their team.
  • Become the primary contact point for the retail brands in relation to new stores (including Partner sites with Woolworths).
  • Work closely with our Design Managers, State Field Engineers and Regional Retail Construction Managers.
  • Provide a clean handover to the Regional Retail Construction Manager to coordinate the fitout of the premises with our Project Coordinators.
     

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in a similar role
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Construction industry experience (white card essential)
  • DA / Council engagement experience
  • Experience within retail environments preferred
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction or Project Management
  • Background in retail build, retail design
  • Smartsheet experience
  • Project Management Planning
  • Property / Centre Management experience
