The finance support function in Endeavour plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of our organisation.  By providing financial planning, reporting, and analysis, the finance support team helps the business make informed decisions, manage risk, and achieve its financial goals. 

The Senior Finance Analyst, Property, will partner with the property and network planning teams to develop business cases for retail new stores and investments in Hotel venues, ensuring alignment with our overall network plan and leveraging market, customer and competitor data to inform investment decisions, driving better outcomes.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Facilitate the capital planning assumptions for the store and venue network, including alignment with the Network planning, Property and Brand teams
• Support the alignment between business case assumptions and financial plans / budgets, ensuring any deviations from business cases are validated and aligned
• Collaborate with the formats, property and network planning teams to develop financial models and business cases for all Retail new stores, acquisitions and Hotel venues, providing advice and recommendations on significant strategic investment decisions
• Support financial scenario modelling for development opportunities to test highest and best use assumptions
• Ensure consistency in models, methodology and assumptions between Retail & Hotels where applicable, and promote a ‘whole of site’ approach to integrated property investments. Ensure alignment with the investment framework and approach in conjunction with the Capital and Corporate advisory team.
• Support post implementation reviews for property investments, aligned to our investment framework 
• Provide insights and analysis on opportunities to optimise returns on property investments, leveraging past performance insights to inform planned investments
• In conjunction with the FM Property, Format & Network, establish a regular cadence for monitoring the property network performance, specifically to measure returns on capital and identify opportunities to recycle or reprioritise capital 

Now let’s talk about you

• 7 years + experience, including Commercial and Property finance
• Qualified accountant (CA/CPA)
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence key business partners
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills
• Commercial thinker, able to critically evaluate and solve problems
• Self-starter who continuously improves processes and outcomes
• Expertise in developing and reviewing investment proposals / business cases for complex programs of work and projects 
• Strong analytical background
• Extensive experience building and reviewing financial models
• Understanding of valuation theory and its practical application
