About the Role
- Guide, coach and inspire store teams
- 30+ stores, 200+ team members across metro, regional and remote locations
- Fixed term 12 month contract, based in Perth
A day in your life as a BWS Area Manager:
- Drive the Vision: Lead, coach, and motivate a multi-site team of Store Managers to execute the BWS strategy and deliver our vision of creating a more sociable future, together.
- Deliver the Strategy: Contribute to and implement BWS operational plans within the State and Area to ensure the overall business strategy is successfully achieved.
- Shape the Culture: Communicate clear direction, strategy, goals, and expectations to build an inclusive and positive team environment.
- Collaborate and Simplify: Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to enhance customer experiences while finding ways to make things simpler for your store teams.
- Lead Horizontally: Model horizontal ways of working as an Area Manager by sharing learnings, solving business problems, and scaling best practices to elevate customer and team experiences.
- Champion Talent: Identify and develop team talent to build a strong pipeline for the future.
What do we need from you
About you

- Strategic Leader: Experience managing a geographically dispersed portfolio, driving operational standards and culture remotely.
- Leader of Leaders: Proven success leading large teams within a retail or similar fast paced, customer focused environment.
- Change Agent: Highly adaptable with big picture thinking and innovation, and able to guide and inspire teams through transitions.
- Data - Driven Decision Making: Adept at using data insights to spot trends and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Safety & Regulatory Leadership: Experience in regulated environments will be well regarded.
- Mobile: Flexible to travel as required in the role.
