We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Anglers Arms Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.
The Anglers Arms Hotel isn’t just a pub, it’s the local’s spot for a good feed, cold beer and a yarn. We’re on the lookout for someone who knows how to run a shift, keep the vibe buzzing, and look after a small crew like they’re family. With rotating shifts and some late night closes, you’ll need to be flexible, switched on, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers license as per state requirements
