We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Bridge Inn Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.
Located at the intersection of Bridge Inn and Plentry Roads, the Bridge Inn Hotel has been a beloved establishment in Mernda since the 1890s. Originally conceived as a community hub, the Bridge Inn was designed to bring together locals and visitors alike. It serves as a welcoming destination where families, friends, and everyone in between can gather to enjoy a refreshing drink or indulge in a delightful meal.
We're a busy, high volume, thriving pub where every section pumps to the max week in, week out, month in, month out! This venue is not for the inexperienced!
$78,000 - $80,000 Base Salary + Super + Bonus Scheme Eligible
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, and gaming room block and you have an extensive F&B background
- You’ve cut your teeth and shone in high volume venues, hundreds of covers a service is the norm
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
