Assistant Manager | Gosnells Hotel
We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Gosnells buzzing and loved by the locals.
Originally built in 1907, the Gosnells Hotel is the oldest public building in the City of Gosnells. Today, the Hotel boasts a large bistro, wide variety of beers on tap, 2 separate outdoor areas, a Sports Bar and fantastic function facilities. We cater to a wide range of occasions, from a quick lunch with friends to after work drinks to unwind after a long day. With an outdoor playground for our youngest guests, we’re well and truly covered for all members of the family.
Whatever the occasion, Gosnells will welcome our guests with open arms.
Salary: $76,600 + superannuation + bonus
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of their crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managers car as per WA state requirements
