We are on the hunt for an energetic Assistant Manager to join our leadership team! Under new management, the iconic Kalamunda Hotel is buzzing again – and we want someone who’s ready to bring fun, drive, great service, and create standout experiences for our loyal locals. We’re a professional team with years of experience, and we have a LOT of fun doing what we love!
Sitting in the heart of the hills, The Kalamunda Hotel has been in the Kalamunda community serving locals and visitors for years. On Railway Road, just down the road from Jorgensen Park and out of the city centre, we're dedicated to providing great quality food and service.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Manager card as per WA state requirements
