Pioneer Tavern is a busy, high-performing venue, and we’re searching for a senior, experienced Assistant Manager who’s ready to take ownership on the floor and lead with confidence.
If you’re the person who keeps a venue steady on its biggest nights, supports and coaches teams with ease, and knows how to run a smooth operation across bars, bistro and gaming... you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Leading large teams across multiple venue spaces
- Running high-volume opens, mids and closes with confidence
- Driving exceptional guest experiences every shift
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and service
- Supporting the Publican with operations, training and team development
- Staying visible, hands-on, and ready to solve problems quickly
About you:
- Strong hospitality leadership experience at a senior AM level
- Confident managing large teams in a high-volume venue
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Calm under pressure and sharp with problem-solving
- Hands-on leader who thrives on the floor
- Positive, professional, and committed to great guest service
- Hold current RSA + RSG and any state-required management certifications
