We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep The Savvy Squire buzzing and loved by the locals.
The Savvy Squire has arrived on the coast, bringing Australia’s first brewer to Mooloolaba. James Squire was a charmer, a swindler and a savvy character indeed, and his legacy is honoured by celebrating a love of quality craft beers matched with modern pub food, made with top-notch local produce.
Step up to the challenge at The Savvy Squire and lead a team in a venue that celebrates bold flavours and bold ideas.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
