At The Savvy Squire, we offer a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere with stunning river views. Our venue is a hub for craft beer lovers, featuring a lively Bistro with its iconic keg wall and a sun-soaked Deck ideal for casual gatherings. We're looking for a passionate Bar Manager (internally known as a Assistant Manager) who thrives in a high-energy environment and is ready to lead the bar team to new heights. This role is key in delivering exceptional service, maintaining our premium craft beer selection, and ensuring our guests enjoy unforgettable experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
• Manage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests
• Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests
• Be creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives

What you’ll need: 

• Qualifications for your journey: RSA, RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager (we can assist you in obtaining your RMLV and Approved Manager licence).
• Hospitality/Retail leadership experience, ideally working across food, bars and gaming
• Ability to lead, develop and coach a large, multi-skilled team 
• Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets 
• Highly developed customer service skills
