Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology via the One Endeavour Transformation Program.

The Business Analyst (BA) - will support the Business Lead and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) through their ability in providing detailed insights to best inform decision making. The BA will work with the team in the analytical development, enhancement, and optimisation of processes, systems, and technologies that are critical for successful system implementation. The BA will have the ability to construct meaningful business models to ensure system implementation is aligned with business needs and goals. BA will be the key connection point between the finance and ERP team to obtain information that is crucial for the development of the final outcome. 

Reporting in a matrixed environment the BA will have a proven track record of successfully producing business modeling to support change and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at a variety levels within the business. The role is a critical conduit in supporting the hotels team throughout the project lifecycle.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Taking the direction from the Program Manager, the BA will collaborate with the SME’s as well as other Business Analysts as well as some Business and Functional Leads to identify and justify the business requirements as needed.
• Assists in documenting, reviewing, and supporting approvals of the project scope/requirements in their area.
• Provides Project Team Members with all required financial modeling, analytical insight and data to ensure successful implementation.
• Participates in workshops and ensures the inclusion of relevant team members from the business to validate the design being implemented. 
• Works with the Finance Team to ensure all possible due diligence is carried out to provide confidence in the potential financial benefits of the implementation prior to the go live. 
• Compiles test scripts, performing the test, and providing potential solutions to resolve errors. 
   

Now let’s talk about you

• 3-5+ years of experience in an insights driven business analyst role. 
• Previous experience in system implementations.
• Previous exposure to large scale projects.
• Advanced proficiency in various data and insight based software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets and Tableau
• Results driven with the ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong change management and leadership skills to effectively support the implementation’s change initiatives through the change team.
