Paying homage to the former owner’s father who’s well-known in the community, Ian’s Western Hotel has undergone recent renovations and renaming to now be known simply as Western Hotel

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Cook at the Western Hotel!
What you’ll do:
- Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment
- Baking, grilling, steaming or boiling fish, meat, vegetables and other foods
- Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
- Monitoring stock levels
- Keeping up with cooking techniques and methods
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
- Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
- An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Trade cooking qualifications are essential
- Flexible availability
