Following our recent transformation, the Holland Park Hotel is looking for a passionate, qualified, Full-Time Chef to join our brand-new kitchen team. We are a high-volume venue, so we are seeking a trade-qualified professional with experience in a fast-paced, bistro-style environment.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent meals while maintaining strict food safety and kitchen standards. To be successful, you must be a reliable team player with full availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. A day in the life of a Chef:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

About you:

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
