Full Time Chef | Miami Tavern | Dream big with us!
The Miami Tavern is seeking a Full-Time Qualified Chef to join our busy kitchen brigade. We are a high-volume, fast-paced bistro looking for a trade-qualified professional who can maintain high standards and consistency under pressure.
Previous experience in a similar pub environment is a major bonus. You must be a reliable team player with full availability to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. If you are looking for a stable role in an iconic coastal venue, apply now!
A day in the life of a Chef:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
- Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
- Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard
What do we need from you
About you:
- You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
- You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
- Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
