About the Role
Cook / Commis Chef | An exciting career opportunity exists for a passionate Qualified Chef to join the team in FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND.
We have vacancies across our eight venues in Far North Queensland including:
- The Edge Hill Tavern, 4870
- Balaclava Hotel, 4870
- Woree Tavern, 4868
- Raintrees Tavern, 4870
- Mission Beach Resort, 4852
- Smithfield Tavern, 4878
- Gateway Hotel Mareeba, 4880
- Atherton Hotel, 4883
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
- Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
- An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- At least 2 years experience required
- Availability to work a rotating roster of days, nights & weekends
- Trade cooking qualifications are essential
- Flexible availability
