We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst with a strong technical/ cloud engineer background to assist with driving cost saving opportunities within the organisation. This role will work closely with IT Infrastructure, Advanced Analytics and EndeavourX teams to ensure that cloud costs are optimised and that the company is getting the most value from its cloud investments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cloud costs and usage to the business and technology stakeholders

• Monitor cloud usage and use alerts to help keep technology teams informed

• Work with technology teams to implement cost-saving strategies and track cloud costs

• Drive governance processes across the cloud computing environment

• Support the current FinOps strategy for Endeavour's cloud computing environment

• Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements

• Stay up-to-date on the latest FinOps practices and trends.

• There will be 'hands-on' platform / technical work as part of the role, hence this role would suit an Azure cloud engineer / Azure platform engineer / DevOps engineer who wants to grow their skills in the financial aspects of cloud operations as part of their career trajectory. 

• Strong Technical/DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineering knowledge with Azure, or Google Cloud Platform experience

• IT Business Analyst or FinOps experience

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills
