As the Customer Service Team Leader, you will lead a small team of Customer Service Representatives and implement continuous improvements to meet our business targets and quality standards and behaviours. 

You’ll be the conduit between our customers, sales team and production sites; and support with enquiries including new business opportunities, entering production orders, following up with suppliers and providing our customers with great customer service through a range of communication channels.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • In conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager, manage the ongoing development of KPIs for yourself and direct reports.
  • Assist and prepare production orders, including the accurate detailing of customer product details and company operating requirements. 
  • React to tight timeframes and business priorities.
  • Maintain and record accurate customer records, customer communication data and files.
  • To answer customer enquiries and phone calls in an efficient and professional manner, and ensure  regular contact with customers is maintained 
  • To educate customers where relevant on Vinpac International processes, procedures and standards.
  • Provide sales, service and product information to all customers in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure customer approval is obtained for each sales order prior to issue of sales orders to production 
  • Monitor customer supplied dry good delivery dates to ensure timely delivery of these goods in accordance with agreed procedures to meet packaging schedules 
  • Promote the Vinpac Website to all customers and train all customers in the utilisation of Vinpac’s  Internationals customer facing portal.

  • Ability to prioritise workloads in a high paced environment where priorities are regularly changing
  • Strong leadership skills - experience desirable 
  • Ability to problem solve 
  • Ability to work independently or as a team 
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships both internally and externally and at all levels 
  • Ability to adapt to new procedures which enhance the effective delivery of customer service 
  • Ability to adapt to customer demands, and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Good organisational and time management skills, including the ability to keep accurate records
  • Ability to make suggested improvement in processes and procedures that benefit Vinpac International and the customer 
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel 
  • Customer focused with a positive, friendly attitude to all stakeholders
