The Application Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end transition of software applications from Woolworths to Endeavour Group, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements. This role involves working closely with project managers, transition teams, and stakeholders to ensure applications are successfully migrated, tested, and integrated into Endeavour's environment with minimal disruption. The lead will manage transition pipelines, track progress, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement in application transition processes.
We’re looking for a highly experienced Application Delivery Lead to lead this critical program, working cross-functionally with technology, business stakeholders and external vendors to deliver a seamless migration.
Overview:
The Application Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end transition of software applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
This role involves working closely with project managers, transition teams, and stakeholders to ensure applications are successfully migrated, tested, and integrated into Endeavour's environment with minimal disruption. The lead will manage transition pipelines, track progress, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement in application transition processes.
Responsibilities:
● Oversee the end-to-end transition of software applications from Woolworths to Endeavour Group, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
● Coordinate daily activities of transition teams and partners, assigning responsibilities and ensuring clear lines of communication.
● Manage transition and testing processes, including planning, validation, and deployment.
● Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
● Ensure adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
● Manage resource allocation to optimize transition efficiency and effectiveness.
● Implement quality assurance processes, oversee testing efforts, and drive defect resolution.
Essential Experience:
● 3+ years of experience in software application transition and delivery.
● Proven ability to manage day-to-day project activities and deliver results.
● Experience leading transition teams on large and complex application migration projects.
● Strong knowledge of transition methodologies, including testing and validation frameworks.
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
● Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable Experience:
Relevant certifications in IT transition or delivery management.
● Information Technology Bachelor or Higher.
● Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
● Knowledge of cloud-based application environments and deployment strategies.
