The Finance Business Partner - Bar and Entertainment will provide financial and commercial support and advice to the ALH Bar Team, using data to drive performance reporting, planning and insightful analysis that improves and supports decision-making

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

• Own and manage the weekly and monthly performance reporting insights, including clear communication of key drivers 
• Provide detailed analysis and recommendations on category pricing, ranging, promotional activities and supplier contracts to drive improved key metrics (i.e visits, average spend, units per basket etc.)
• Proactively communicate commercial impacts on past and future activities amongst stakeholders 
• Develop initiatives to improve visibility and accountability of category Sales and Profit performance
• Proactively work with key stakeholders to optimise ways of working 
• Along with Head of Bars own the sales and GP targets and associated commentary for the category
• Play a key role in the forecast and budget processes for the category
• Clear and effective communication across multiple groups of stakeholders
• Pro-actively rationalise reporting and ad hoc requests, through a culture of continuous Improvement
• Play the role of ‘commercial advisor, including supplier negotiations and discussion 
• Key member of the broader finance team strengthen ways of working with Operations / FPA and driving team culture

Now let’s talk about you

• A minimum of 6 years relevant experience
• CA / CPA Qualification 
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data from a variety of sources
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrate simple, structured, accurate and robust outputs
• Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience
• Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, macros), PowerPoint
• Great Plains experience desirable.
