As the Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain and Operations Risk, you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager Supply Chain and indirectly with the Last Mile Finance Manager.  You will gain exposure to the senior members of the Endeavour Supply Chain and Operations Risk teams

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

• Assist the Senior Finance Manager in delivering financial, commercial and strategic insights to the Supply Chain General Manager. The role will provide analysis and guidance on cost drivers from our Partnership Agreements with Woolworths, further this role will validate any trends and possible opportunities for improvement in the supply chain function based on those insights. 
• Partnering with external (Woolworths) finance and supply chain teams to deliver timely and accurate activity based costs to EDG.
• Partner with the Head of Operations Risk and the leadership team to provide financial, commercial and strategic insights in regards to Stock-loss, Markdowns and Security Guard costs.
• Support the annual planning (Budgeting), re-forecasting and month-end reporting processes for Supply Chain and Operations Risk. This includes contribution to the monthly Business Performance Reviews (BPR) providing timely, accurate insight and analysis. You will also proactively identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing finance processes.
• Partnering with the Senior Finance Manager you will support the Supply Chain and Operations Risk teams by providing ad-hoc decision support, business case preparation and actionable insights for strategic initiatives. This includes initiatives delivered in conjunction with our Last Mile Delivery & Store Stock Loss teams as we strive to optimise our end-to-end network costs.
   

Now let’s talk about you

• 7 years + experience, including management accounting and business partnering
• Prior experience working in large and complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Qualified accountant (CA/CPA)
• Budgeting / forecasting experience
• Solid systems and technical skills 
• Supply chain/ logistics experience (desirable)
• Good communication skills, able to influence key business partners and manage a broad  stakeholder base
• Strong organisational and effective time management and prioritisation skills supporting multiple teams / functions
• Commercial thinker, able to critically evaluate and solve problems
• Strong financial modelling, with strong Excel experience
