Mermaid Waters Hotel is calling for a passionate, people focused Functions Manager to join our dynamic team and take the reins of our multi-million dollar renovated space!
This is your chance to step into a high-performing venue and put your stamp on something special. With no late nights (nothing past midnight) and the majority of your days off being Sundays and Mondays, you’ll finally have that elusive work-life balance, without compromising on career growth.
You'll have the freedom to design and deliver standout events, your way, with full creative control and support from a team that backs your vision. Whether you're an experienced Functions Manager or an Assistant Manager ready for a bold career shift, this is your moment to lead, create, and thrive in one of the Gold Coast’s most exciting hospitality spaces.
What do we need from you
About you:
- You have a collaborative spirit and share your passion and enthusiasm with your team and stakeholders
- You use your strategic planning skills to reach targets, develop your team, and manage multiple priorities
- You hold current RSA and RSG industry certifications
- Ideally RMLV & Approved Managers
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
