Gaming Manager | Kirwan Tavern
Are you a gaming specialist who knows how to run a top-tier room, build genuine rapport with players, and drive exceptional operational standards? The Kirwan Tavern is searching for a dedicated, results-driven Gaming Manager to take command of one of the premier gaming rooms in the Townsville region.
This is a focused, high-impact specialist role. We need a gaming leader who takes immense pride in room presentation, understands machine mix and operational flow, and sets the standard for exceptional customer service. You will lead from the front line, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our regulars, maintaining absolute compliance across all QLD liquor and gaming regulations, and mentoring a high-energy host team.
A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:
- Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
- Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
- Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
- Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
- You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
- You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
