Gaming Manager | Smithfield Tavern
Are you a gaming professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering a premium guest experience? Smithfield Tavern is looking for a dedicated Gaming Manager to take ownership of our gaming room and drive service standards in this high-volume Western Sydney local.
The Smithfield Tavern is a busy, community-focused venue where our gaming offering is a key part of the experience. We need a leader who is not only a compliance expert but also a "mine host" on the floor, someone who can build genuine rapport with our patrons while ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment at all times.
A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:
- Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
- Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
- Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
- Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
- You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
- You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
