We’re looking for someone who carries positive energy and passion in their toolbelt. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our venue is well maintained so that we can provide a guest experience locals love. Love your local? We’d love to chat!
A day in the life of a Handyperson:
- Proactively identify and address safety and maintenance opportunities across the venue’s indoor and outdoor areas
- Diligently manage the maintenance, cleaning and rubbish removal schedule
- Engage in minor refurbishment projects including cabinetry, plastering and painting
What do we need from you
About you:
- You have a good understanding of preventative and seasonal maintenance practices
- You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
- You are a motivated self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
