Due to internal progression we are recruiting for a Head of Finance - Planning & Performance. This role plays a critical role in driving the financial planning and performance management functions across Endeavour. This senior leadership role encompasses overseeing the board reporting process, managing the budget and forecasting activities, and designing and implementing enterprise performance management cadence across the Group. The role is responsible for the non-statutory financial reporting to investors, coordinating half year and full year results releases. For the right candidate, the role will also create added focus on the management of support office CODB.
The Head of Finance - Planning & Performance will be a strategic partner to the Corporate functions executive team, contributing to the formulation of financial strategies and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role
- Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports for the Board of Directors, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare clear, concise, and data-driven presentations to communicate financial results and strategic recommendations to the Board.
- Responsible for financial and non-financial reporting to the investment community
- Manage the half year and full year reporting process - Bringing together investor narrative / key messages (Investor Relations), progress against strategy (Strategy) and financial outcomes (External reporting), aligning with media and Corporate Affairs
- Work alongside the Strategy team to design an effective planning process, which articulates the long term and short term priorities and targets.
- Taking responsibility for developing the 5 year financial plan, aligning financial plans with strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial feasibility, and recommend optimal capital allocation.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with each brand and function to establish financial targets that align with strategic goals
- Provide insights on estimated financial outcomes in the lead up to Trimesterly planning process in order to inform choices and reprioritisation
- Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks to track key financial and operational metrics, enabling informed decision-making.
- Oversee the performance management cadence, meeting with each functional owner each month to review performance and initiating red-flag reviews where required.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, functional leaders and other stakeholders to ensure financial plans and strategies support overall business goals.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making at all levels of the organisation, (from Board to individual cost centre managers)
- Lead and mentor the Planning & Performance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous development.
Now let’s talk about you
- 15 years+ experience working within ASX listed company preferred
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA)
- Retail / FMCG industry experience preferred
- Strong Investor Relations experience
- Senior leadership roles in Finance, including FP&A
- Experience in enterprise performance management including reporting
- Change leadership
- Experience partnering the Executive Leadership Teams and Board level
- Experience managing and leading a team
