Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.

As a critical part of the overall One Endeavour Transformation Program, the Head of Finance Transformation will be responsible for ensuring business readiness to go live of the new Finance system, operating model and ways of working.

Leading a team of Finance functional experts, you will be responsible for designing and agreeing the Finance template, delivering world class processes which meet the business needs of Endeavour Group, whilst ensuring an appropriate level of internal control and policies are in place.  In addition, you will lead the implementation of the Finance template, ensuring business readiness across all functional areas and businesses, actively engaging with business stakeholders at a senior level to gain acceptance, get buy in across SME’s and ultimately deliver a successful go-live within the overall scope and business case of the broader Transformation Program, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

Ensure complete business readiness for the go-live (system and process) across all businesses and create and manage execution of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully deliver business readiness, including: 

• Resources
• Program governance
• Testing, user acceptance and training activities
• Risk and issue management 
• Change management 
• Communication plan
• Cutover and go-live activities

Now let’s talk about you

• 10+ years as a Finance professional or Finance Transformation consultant
• Demonstrated experience as part of / leading a Finance transformation program in a large scale organisation
• Relevant undergraduate qualifications
• Retail or FMCG Experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (desirable)
• Experience of SAP and Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
