The Head of Responsible Gaming will be the leading expert in responsible gaming for the business, overseeing and shaping our responsible gaming strategy while delivering on the Group’s ESG commitments. This role is essential in enabling ALH to proactively provide a safer gaming experience to all our guests, reducing harm, building trust and fostering sustainability within our community.

You'll advocate for player welfare and responsible gaming principles, working as a key business partner to Operations to drive our responsible gaming initiatives across the ALH network, participating in broader responsibility oversight across the Endeavour group to drive our responsible gaming goals, and representing ALH and Endeavour in relevant external forums.

Additionally, this role involves developing and overseeing policies, procedures and programs related to responsible gaming, distinct from regulatory compliance. This includes managing  Player Protect frameworks, the FOCAL ALeRT BETTOR system, and other safer gaming initiatives such as Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) and Cashless Gaming. 


Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in applicable field (business, communications, policy, law).
  • 10-15 years minimum experience in one or more of the following fields: RSG, public policy, Government Relations and stakeholder management across either governments, bureaucracy, corporate sector or consultancies.
  • Proven track record of policy development and agenda setting.
  • Proven track record of executive stakeholder relationship development and management.
  • Existing network in one or more jurisdictions.
  • Hospitality, casinos or gaming policy experience, is desirable.
  • Roles within Government in the relevant policy areas, is desirable.
