The Advanced Analytics Team is an Enterprise function within Endeavour, with capabilities across data governance & privacy, data engineering & platforms, data analytics and data science. Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.

The Full Stack Data Engineering (FSDE) Junior - Advanced Analytics sits in the FSDE Chapter in the Engineering Practice and is the start of a special career pathway at Endeavour. The Full Stack Data Engineer capability operates at the intersection of Data Engineering and Software Engineering with additional exposure to Machine Learning using the Databricks platform.

Endeavour operates an Agile, matrixed environment, with Practices/Chapters providing people management and capabilities, whilst Product squads deliver business missions. Chapter members are embedded in cross-functional Product delivery squads, bringing their specific skill to that squad to deliver on the Product initiatives. 
  
Your primary function is to provide technical delivery and support to a Product squad with support from Senior and Tech Lead level Chapter Members. You are an avid learner with a passion for this unique combination of skills.

• Support delivery of value in assigned squads/teams

• Adoption of standards and appropriate tools to support consistency and quality of deliverables.

• Raise and collaborate on impediments to the chapter function

• Engage with the Chapter for knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement

• Reinforcing of Endeavour’s Agile & Scrum values and principles

• Enable close cooperation across all Practices & Chapters in Endeavour

• Continuously work to uplift own performance and skillset

• Thought leadership in the capability; Maintains connection with external industry developments for potential opportunities in capability development
