Kitchen Attendant | Highfields Tavern | Dream big with us!
The Highfields Tavern is seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Attendant to join our busy back-of-house team. This role involves supporting our chefs with basic food prep, dishwashing, and maintaining a spotless kitchen environment during fast-paced services.
We are looking for a motivated team player with a "can-do" attitude and excellent availability to cover a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. If you are a fast learner with a strong work ethic and want to work in a great local tavern, Apply Now!
A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:
- Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
- Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
- Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance
What do we need from you
About you:
- You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
- You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
- You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
Inherent requirements:
- This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
