About the Role
Kitchen Attendant | Manly Hotel | Dream big with us!
The Manly Hotel is seeking a reliable Casual Kitchen Attendant to join our busy team for 20–25 hours per week.
You will assist chefs with basic food prep, manage dishwashing, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. To apply, you must have great availability for a flexible roster across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Previous experience in a fast-paced, busy bistro-style pub or high-volume kitchen is a major bonus, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:
- Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
- Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
- Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance
What do we need from you
About you:
- You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
- You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
- You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
Inherent requirements:
- This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
