Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager the Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in the execution and delivery of marketing campaigns aimed to drive growth across ALH pubs, supporting on projects throughout the event calendar and promotional periods to drive customer engagement and visitation to our venues!
This role focuses on embedding brand standards and ensuring that campaigns resonate with our target audience through customer-focused branding and targeted messaging; and ensure the timely delivery of all projects working cross functionally with all business stakeholders and agency partners.

Here’s a taster of the Marketing Specialist responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement guest-centric campaigns to support venue trade, align with business strategy and promote effectively across all channels to meet business goals.
- Create campaigns that align to both long and short term business goals, reacting to market conditions within tight timeframes when required.
- Maintain and embed brand standards across all marketing materials for consistent, high-quality representation of ALH Hotels Group's portfolio.
- Lead the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, from briefing creative and media agencies and evaluating their proposals to driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Work with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, commercial) for cohesive marketing efforts.
- Assist in managing the marketing budget for projects, ensuring cost-effective resource use.
- Flexibly work cross-functionally with the broader marketing team when required.

Now let’s talk about you:
- Experience 2+ Years working in a dedicated marketing environment
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with brand management, or exposure to working with agencies and various brands would be advantageous
- Proven ability to project manage marketing campaigns, end-to-end, with the ability to implement strategy into action
- High attention to detail, experience writing briefs and creating content
- Strong understanding of optimisation techniques and using data to inform plans
- Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders
- Budget management experience
- Experience leveraging customer insights to derive a plan
- Strong presentation and data storytelling skills
- Experienced in hospitality desirable
- Project management & agile mindset/experience an advantage
- Proactive nature and positive mindset
