About the Role
Night Shift Front Office Attendant - Mermaid Waters Hotel - Calling Night Owls!!
The Mermaid Waters Hotel is looking for a reliable and meticulous Casual Night Front Office Attendant to join our dedicated team. This crucial overnight role requires guaranteed availability for Monday and Tuesday shifts, commencing at 23:00 and concluding between 07:00 and 07:30 am.
While these two nights are fixed, the successful candidate must be flexible and available for additional shifts, including covering the Night Auditor's leave periods, providing excellent scope for extra work. Previous experience in a hotel front office or accommodation role is highly desirable. If this sounds like a good fit, Apply Now!
A day in the life of a Front Office Attendant:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests through warm, friendly and attentive service
- Stay up to date on reception emails and phone calls and action administrative tasks as quickly as possible
- Lean into team work and assist with accommodation, bistro and booking duties as required
What do we need from you
About you:
- You know that when it comes to guest service, every moment matters
- You are great with people, communication and detail and are motivated to make magic happen for your guests and your teammates
- You are highly organised and have great computer skills
- You hold a current RSA certificate
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
