Pizza Chef – The Breakfast Creek Hotel

The Breakfast Creek Hotel is opening a stunning new dining space, and we're building a team that will deliver the best wood-fired pizza in Queensland. We're looking for passionate, dedicated chefs from Junior to Sous level, who want to learn, grow, and execute exceptional pizza in a high-energy, iconic environment.
This is your chance to gain elite level experience. You’ll be working with a high-volume wood-fired oven, learning the nuances of speed, temperature, and quality control from an expert Head Pizza Chef. If you have the drive, we will give you the skills.
A day in the life of a Chef:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
- Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
- Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard
What do we need from you
About you:
- A Strong Foundation: You have existing experience in a professional kitchen, ideally with pizza and/or wood-fired oven exposure.
- The Hunger to Learn: A genuine, intense desire to master the art of traditional and modern pizza-making. We're looking for someone who treats every dough ball as a new lesson.
- Reliability & Speed: You thrive in a busy environment and understand the pace required for a high-volume operation.
- Team Player Mentality: A positive attitude, a willingness to follow direction, and a commitment to supporting your team.
- The Passion: Like us, you believe a great pizza is more than just food, it's an experience.
