We are seeking a dynamic PMO Analyst to join our company. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all projects are running smoothly, on budget, and on time. You'll also liaise with project team members to gather, analyse, and monitor project data, as well as assist and prepare project status reports. The role will be key in assisting in driving process improvement within Technology and play a critical role in assisting in prioritising projects for Trimester Planning.
To ensure your success as a PMO analyst, you should be able to identify business needs and meet them through effective project management and analysis. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO analyst should display problem solving, analytical prowess and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Planning and implementing project management strategies, based on templates and toolsets.
- Ensuring project parameters meet stakeholder agreed-upon needs and expectations.
- Monitoring existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
- Gathering and analysing project data to identify its weaknesses and resolve any time-related or budgetary issues.
- Liaising with project team members and providing suggestions or solutions to unforeseen issues when needed.
- Assisting and preparing project status reports for management review.
- Communicating with stakeholders about the status and progress of their projects.
- Ensuring all project strategies are in compliance with company standards.
- Experience with program coordination/administration.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Project and Delivery Managers.
- Creating metrics to measure the progress, success and effects of projects within the Portfolio.
- Look for opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes, standards and governance and challenge the status quo.
- Assisting the Planning and Assurance Manager with defining and uplifting the project management processes, standards and governance
- Assist in embedding the trimester planning process and prioritisation framework.
- Take ownership and management of Portfolio and Program Management Portfolio (PPM) tools.
Now let’s talk about you:
- A minimum of 3 year's experience as a PMO analyst, junior project manager, or a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools.
- Ability to analyse a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings.
- Great computer skills and knowledge of PMO software tools, such as Smartshets, Planview, Airtable, MS Project, Asana etc.
- Strong program coordination and administration abilities.
- Good critical thinking skills.
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, able to quickly absorb information, conceptualise and problem-solving.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Identifying and obtaining support or advice required for the planning, coordination and execution of work.
- Ability to resolve issues and be a competent decision maker.
- Ability to control, monitor and manage all program costs, resources and project health.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team and handle tight deadlines.
- Relevant formal qualifications and certifications, or working towards same eg Cert IV, PMBOK, PRINCE, AGILE
