Please note, the role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, working flexibly.

Project manager Stores will effectively lead and manage projects under the One Endeavour Transformation program to successful outcomes by overseeing all aspects of project execution. This includes defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables; developing detailed work plans and schedules; and managing resources, budgets, and risks. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Additionally, the Project Manager plays a key role in stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building. They work closely with project team members, stakeholders, vendors and senior management to ensure alignment of project goals and expectations. By effectively managing project activities, dependencies, and issues, the Project Manager helps to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Overall, the purpose of the Project Manager role is to drive project excellence, achieve business objectives, and deliver value to stakeholders through effective project management practices and leadership.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Manage Specific Project(s) within the E2E Stores Program:

  • Ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Oversee dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, constraints, and assumptions to mitigate potential challenges

Track Project Milestones and Deliverables:

  • Monitor project progress and track milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management to keep them informed.

Manage Scoping of Requirements and Business Cases:

  • Lead the scoping of requirements and development of business cases, including cost and benefits analysis.
  • Secure external support as needed to achieve project objectives.

Communicate Project Expectations:

  • Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders to address any concerns or changes.

Manage Actions, Issues, and Dependencies:

  • Effectively manage project actions, issues, and dependencies, including those that involve multiple projects.
  • Oversee project escalations and related issues, engaging with appropriate stakeholders and utilizing governance forums as needed.

Ensure Sustainable Implementation of Project Changes:

  • Manage people, processes, and systems to ensure the sustainable implementation of project changes.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions and integration of project outcomes into existing systems and workflows.

Manage Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Engage stakeholders through clear and engaging communication and influencing skills.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to support project success.

Qualifications

  • 8+ Years Project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale digital transformation programs.
  • Retail industry experience
  • Responsible for delivering successful and sustainable execution of projects
  • Skilled in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and guiding others in resolving complex issues.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Trello, Confluence, or other PM tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Possesses strong influencing skills.
