Publican (Venue Manager) | Granville Hotel
We’re not just looking for a Venue Manager, we're on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.
Located in the heart of Granville, the Granville Hotel is a premier drinking and accommodation destination just outside Sydney. Recently renovated, our late 19th-century venue offers a modern, inviting space perfect for connecting with family and friends.
As Granville’s favorite "early opener," we are the local go-to for a quiet post-work drink or a lively catch-up. With pool tables and an extensive selection of beer, cider, and spirits, it’s the ultimate place to relax.
We also offer premium short and long-term accommodation, featuring renovated rooms and high-quality facilities. The Granville Hotel provides a comfortable retreat from the Sydney hustle.
Salary: From $90,000 + superannuation + bonus
A day in the life of a Publican:
- You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
- You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
- You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
- You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
- You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Hold current industry RSA, RCG, ARCG, and Licensee Training qualifications as per NSW state requirements
