We’re on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

Located "smack bang" on The Esplanade, Henley Beach Hotel is more than a pub—it’s a coastal destination. We’re a high-volume community hub known for fresh seafood, premium steaks, and the best beachfront views in Adelaide. We are looking for an energetic leader to join our team. If you want to work in a fast-paced environment where the ocean is your office, we want to hear from you.
A day in the life of a Publican:
- You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
- You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
- You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
- You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
- You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
