Publican | Iron Horse Inn

Are you a results-driven hospitality leader with a passion for people and a knack for high-volume operations? We are seeking a dynamic Publican to take the reins at the Iron Horse Inn.

The Iron Horse Inn is a well-loved community hub, known for its bustling bistro, popular bar, and friendly atmosphere. This is a venue with a loyal local following and a high-volume trade that requires a leader who is both a commercial expert and a visible, welcoming presence on the floor. A day in the life of a Publican:

  • You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
  • You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
  • You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
  • You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
  • You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.

Inherent requirements:

  • This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

  • Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
