The Regional Construction Manager is responsible for the delivery, team leadership and capital management of the Endeavour Group retail fitout program for new stores, renewals, and upgrade work streams across the NSW, ACT and QLD region.
The role is crucial to continue to drive incremental sales across the existing fleet of retail stores and also growing market share with our new store program.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:
- Lead, coach and develop the region's Project Coordinator teams.
- Accountability for cost management across the region and stakeholder engagement.
- Delivery of all project financial budgets and end-to-end project management.
- Oversee pre-contract tender process and award successful contractors.
- Coordinate and direct principal contractors and subcontractors on all sites.
- Negotiate and manage contractual relationships with all external business partners.
- Liaise with the State Managers of Endeavour Group retail brands regularly to provide regular reporting on the State Construction and Fitout program.
- Work in partnership with Design and on occasion external providers on specific brand scheme review by providing input into layout and project scope.
- Partner with the developers, landlords and centre managers on joint tenancy renewal and new store program.
- Lead monthly project health check meeting with regional teams.
- Partner with Woolworths/Endeavour Group Property teams to coordinate acquisitions and store closures.
- Manage and deliver the Micro/Macro space workstream across Endeavour Group sites to maximise sale performance and evolve localised offers.
- Ensure that a program/schedule of works completed for each project by our Project Coordinators in consultation with the Renewal Ops lead.
- Improve the shopping experience with best practice in execution of renewals and new stores including continual focus on the customer needs.
- Attend monthly Endeavour Group Safety SHEC, identify opportunities and partner with State safety lead on remediation and development strategies.
- Manage all internal and external business partners safety performance and compliance.
- Administer, develop and control the systems and procedures required to deliver the store renewal program works, ensuring minimum disruption to the customer.
Qualifications

- Deep experience in a similar role
- Strong stakeholder management
- Construction industry experience (white card)
- Qualifications in Construction or Project Management
- Experience within retail environment preferred
- Background in retail build, retail design
- Smartsheet experience
- Project Management Planning
- SAP experience
- Cost management and/or QS experience
