Join the expanding Gaming AI Squad as a Senior Business Analyst in the Hotels product tower within the Endeavourd&ai tribe and be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge data science solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with a data science solutions team and an application/platform/insights team to bridge the gap between business needs and technical innovations.

We’re looking for an experienced BA with strong skills in agile delivery, a solid understanding of data and systems, and the ability to influence and lead by example. Your expertise in business analysis and stakeholder engagement will be critical in driving impactful solutions while showcasing best practices in the BA discipline.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Work with business stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities; impacts and outcomes

• Evaluate, analyse, and communicate business requirements continuously with clear documentation of current state and future state (optimised) business processes

• Assist the Product Manager with the build and formulation of the Squad Backlog

• Create and refine epics and stories aligned to reporting requirements and business problems 

• Keeping the stories within the backlog up to date and as the detail expands and evolves

• Engagement with Subject Matter Experts and other Tribes/Squads who can support the Squad during solution delivery and facilitation of their involvement

• Work closely with data engineers, data modellers, data analysts and BI developers to ensure that the development team stays aligned with the business needs 

• Assist the development team with release and change management by planning the run sheets and putting together an implementation plan for each change

• Liaising with the team to ensure they have access to the right information from the stakeholders at the right time, to assist in the development of the solution and know that it will achieve the outcome, especially with the data transformation challenges.

• Provide ongoing support to end-users and ensure that solutions are operating efficiently and effectively.

• Proven business analysis experience in an Agile environment

• Be somebody to ask WHY/HOW this is going to improve user experience to help stakeholders drive product initiatives

• Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to see past problems to solutions

• Proficient in requirements-gathering tools and techniques

•  Strong ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner

•  Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills

•  Solid experience producing effective user stories and acceptance criteria

•  Analytical mindset capable of breaking complex problems into smaller pieces

• Having a strong alignment with an agile mindset.

• Enthusiastic and positive team member with a self-directed and self-motivated attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills 

• Ability to see the big picture

• Capable of owning strategic business analysis responsibilities

• Mentor associate BAs and guide them in their pathways to becoming Business Analysts
