A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident and innovative Senior People Partner to join a high performing team on a progressive cultural journey.
Reporting to the General Manager - People, BWS, this role will partner with the Queensland operational leadership teams and will be responsible for BWS-wide initiatives.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Partner with the State Manager and take accountability for the effective delivery of people strategies including aligning safety, performance, capability, engagement and talent initiatives to the business strategy.
- Implement strategic people initiatives with a commercial mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Take ownership of a portfolio and partner with key stakeholders to deliver cyclical people plan activity.
- Utilise team listening and talent data to provide actionable insights to leaders and formulate action plans to address opportunities.
- Provide advice and coaching on complex people and employment matters.
- Manage the implementation of people change initiatives, including supporting leaders to deliver and embed change.
- Support leadership development and foster an un-boring culture where leaders are encouraged to Dream Big.
Now let’s talk about you:
- You're an experienced HR professional (5+ years) with experience in a strategic business partner role; ideally multi site.
- Relevant tertiary degree qualifications e.g. HR, Business/ Commerce, Psychology
- Retail, FMCG or related industry experience is ideal.
- You’re driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a team of great people. Whatever you love - customer experience, business process, trading, leadership or data, you’re active in the community that sits around it.
- You focus on doing what’s meaningful, purposeful and delivers value. You’re excited about being part of the transformation of one of Australia’s biggest companies.
- You’re curious and empathetic, with an eye for the bigger picture. You deal with complexity by collaborating with colleagues, listening to customers and suppliers, testing ideas and continuously learning.
