The Senior Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's server, virtualization, and Microsoft ecosystem.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Designing and implementing systems infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Managing and maintaining on-premises servers, computer infrastructure, virtualization platforms (VMWare & Nutanix), and Microsoft applications and services.
• Monitoring systems performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implementing security measures to safeguard systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Collaborating with IT and security teams to integrate systems with other technology platforms.
• Conducting performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize systems performance and scalability.
• Documenting systems configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps in adherence to architectural and operational standards and policies.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior systems engineers and IT staff.
• Transitioning newly deployed solutions to operations teams following service transition standards and policies.

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 5+ years experience in system engineering roles
• Expertise across multiple systems technologies, including on-premises servers, virtualization (VMWare & Nutanix), Microsoft applications, and Dell compute.
• Expertise across multiple systems technologies, including on-premises servers, virtualization (VMWare & Nutanix), Microsoft applications, and compute hardware, SQL, DNS, AD and  Azure Cloud Services
• Experience and thorough understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes such as change management, incident management, and configuration management
• Strong understanding of systems concepts and protocols.
