A stone's throw from the shores of Coolum Beach, the Coolum Beach Hotel is not only a local pub, but a member of the community. We're located in the central hub of Coolum Beach along David Low Way, north of the Sunshine Coast by 15 minutes and even closer from the Sunshine Coast Airport

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Sous Chef at the Coolum Beach Hotel.
What you’ll do:
- Run the pass during busy service times to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of dishes to surpass guest expectations
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning, inventory management and food preparation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Create and manage staff rosters
- Manage food safety and ensure adherence to compliance and safety standards"
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
- Trade Cooking qualifications
- The desire to be part of a fun, productive and professional team
