Vineyard Operator | Permanent full time

As a Vineyard Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day vineyard operations across all three Cape Mentelle sites.

You will work closely with the Viticulturist and Site Supervisors, assisting with vineyard operations.

What you'll do:

• All Tractor operations, including spraying, mowing, canopy management and harvest activities. 
• Daily equipment cleaning, routine and preventative maintenance
• Compliance and record keeping
• Maintenance of vineyard sites, including surrounds, facilities, and reserves
• Active OH&S and continuous improvement participation through safety meetings, toolboxes, and inspections

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Previous experience in vineyard operations, or related agricultural experience
• Flexibility to adapt to differing work environments and vineyard sites
• Can work autonomously and problem solve as required
• Able to safely lift and carry heavy items, and drive for extended periods, including on rough terrain
• Can work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team culture
• Understanding and/or experience in sustainable farming desirable
