Assistant Manager | The Ranch
We’re on the hunt for an energetic and hands on Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at The Ranch Hotel in North Ryde. A local favourite, The Ranch is a lively, multi faceted venue featuring a modern bistro, sports bar, gaming facilities, kids’ playground, and function spaces that host everything from family celebrations to corporate events.
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Venue Manager in driving day to day operations, leading and motivating the team, and delivering an exceptional experience for every guest. You’ll be across everything from rostering and stock control to training, compliance, and ensuring service standards are always at their best.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
