Ferny Grove Tavern proudly offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors of Ferny Grove. Situated on Samford Road in the northern suburb of Brisbane, we’ve been a favourite in the community for years.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Commis Chef at the Ferny Grove Tavern!
What you’ll do:
- Assist the senior chefs in preparing a variety of meals according to menu and orders
- Work efficiently to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests.
- Comply with safety and health policies, procedure and role responsibilities as defined in the Safety and Health Responsibilities and Accountabilities procedure
- Setup and cleaning of kitchen
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
- Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
- An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Trade cooking qualifications are essential
- Flexible availability
