The Contract and Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the MSA, SOW’s, schedules and change requests with the Business Services outsource partner ensuring Endeavour’s commercial interests are protected and contractual commitments are mutually delivered. Business value outcomes are a key component of this partnership and this role is responsible for establishing the methodology, tracking, reporting and quantifying the realisation of external savings from the outsource partner and internal efficiency gains across the Business Services scope and team.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Contract Management & Compliance:
- Act as operational custodian for the MSA, SOWs and schedules with the outsource provider.
- Ensure all service delivery, process controls and operational policies are fully compliant with contractual obligations.
- Ensure outstanding contractual obligations re closed during transition activities
- Lead the engagement and validation of periodic contractual review items for internal/external alignment
- Design and execute a robust change control process for any new, amended, or revised scope, services, or performance criteria.
- Lead the business, financial, and risk assessments for proposed changes and manage the process through the governance forums for formal approval
- Lead the negotiation of commercial agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable, risks are mitigated, and contracts align with business objectives.
- Establish a rigorous system to track and ensure the mutual obligations of both Endeavour and the Outsource Partner are met, ensuring contractual performance.
- Lead the operational contract and performance dispute resolution process, working collaboratively with the outsource partner and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Performance Monitoring & Management:
- Accountable for developing performance reporting for the outsource provider across all service towers, identifying how they are tracking against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs) and critical service level agreements (CLA’s)
- Lead regular review and refinement of business performance indicators across all scope areas, in order to elevate performance maturity outcomes for executive endorsement
- Escalation management and resolution of performance issues within and across the service towers
- Deliver performance management reporting for Governance forums across both operational and executive meetings, ensuring action items are agreed and
- Drive the continuous evolution of performance metrics, to drive ongoing and sustained performance delivering quantified financial and non-financial benefits.
- Lead & drive the embedding of robust performance frameworks and quality assurance processes.
Commercial & Financial Management:
- Monitor and control contract expenditure, ensuring all financial aspects of the Business Services agenda are managed within budget and in accordance with financial protocols.
- Lead the operationalisation of the business case, ensuring accurate tracking of financial impacts and benefits and collaborating with the internal stakeholders & outsource provider for reporting to budget.
- Develop frameworks for financial scenario modeling to support decision making and identifying cost-saving measures.
- Review and validate billing to ensure financial accuracy and timely payment processing from the outsource partner.
- Forecast future business benefits for inclusion in Endeavour’s planning assumptions.
Now let’s talk about you:
- 7+ years of experience commercial contract management, performance management, or a similar role within a business/shared services or outsourcing context.
- Strong understanding of managed services contracts and financial management principles.
- Proficiency in analysing and interpreting complex contracts and financial data.
- A proven track record of effective continuous improvement, with experience in leading initiatives to refine processes and improve quality and performance outcomes.
- Experience operationalising business cases and developing the associated financial budgeting and tracking.
- Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
