Job Description
The Data, Analytics & Reporting Lead - Transformation is a key role in driving the success of our transformation program.
The role sits in our Data, Cyber and Technology stream, and is responsible for partnering with the People, Unified Commerce, Stores, ERP and other business-functional aligned transformation streams to deliver the data, analytics & reporting scope within these programs. The role will collaborate closely with the programs to understand their requirements and guide the solution and delivery of these requirements. You will have the support of data architects, program data teams, data platform engineers and our Advanced Analytics team to ensure understanding and alignment with our enterprise analytics platforms and standards.
This is a hands-on role, where you will form strong trusted relationships with both the Transformation program and Advanced Analytics team.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Business partner with the business functional aligned transformation program streams to deliver their data, analytics & reporting requirements. aligned to their schedules and in line with our enterprise architecture and analytics standards
Maintain connection with Advanced Analytics COE and Practices/Chapters, ensuring alignment with our Enterprise Data Architecture, Standards, Platforms and tools
Manage a team of data specialists, providing guidance and support
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous learning and improvement.
Set clear objectives and performance metrics, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment.
Now let’s talk about you:
Advanced knowledge of data and analytics industry frameworks and professional standards
Experience in Technology delivery, waterfall and agile
An in-depth understanding of common databases and data structures
In-depth experience of analytics data modelling techniques
Experience working with big data cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
Experience working with visualisation tools such as Tableau
Experience delivering technology or analytics projects in a large, complex enterprise
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulations, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
