We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The Enterprise Data Architect will play a crucial role in providing the technical leadership and strategic direction for the technologies, standards, processes and architectures for all data assets across the Endeavour Group. As a thought leader you will develop relationships, discover and articulate requirements, define the data models, develop and maintain the architectures, and drive the solutioning in the data, information and analytics domain.
- Architecture Development: Design and maintain enterprise data architectures, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data integration, aligning with strategic business goals and IT investments.
- Technical Leadership: Lead development teams through the software lifecycle, ensuring architectures meet organizational standards and timelines.
- System Integration: Implement solutions to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Performance Optimization: Address performance bottlenecks and improve system scalability.
- Risk Management: Mitigate technical risks for data architecture solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Align data architectures with business objectives through client and team collaboration.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and best practices.
- Monitor and Maintain: Report on project delivery and adjust activities as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar capacity, with a minimum of 5 years in EDW, Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with the following technologies/frameworks:
- Zachman and/or TOGAF
- ITIL, ITSM, and/or COBIT
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments, and an understanding of various data access and analytics approaches (e.g., microservices and event-based architectures).
- Excellent SQL skills and exposure to other data query and manipulation programming/scripting languages.
